Submitting Your Activity

Sign in with UConn, then choose Submit your activity from the Footprint Map panel.

Submission guidance

The form asks for a title, UConn campus, activity type, activity date, community partner type and name, location, description, and permission to publish. An administrator can change which date, location, and description fields are required.

What makes a good submission

Use a short title that names the work, choose the closest activity type, name the community partner clearly, and explain what took place. If you choose Other for the activity type, enter a useful label instead of repeating “Other.”

Location tips

Search for an address and choose a result, or select a point on the map. You can drag the marker to correct it. The form saves both the written location and the marker coordinates.

After submission

The activity is saved with the current default visibility. If that setting is Fully public and the record has coordinates, it can appear on the map right away. An administrator can edit the record or change its visibility later.
